NEGATIVE Calorie Foods
Even though I love this idea … I’m a little skeptical!
Accourding to some diet experts there are foods that burn more calories in the digestion process, than the foods have themselves… is this the dieter’s mana from heaven? Here’s an example … say the food has 100 calories and it takes 110 calories to digest it … that’s a negative calorie food. Amazing!!!
It is a fact that 10% percent of your body’s caloric intake is used to process the foods you eat. So eating these negative calorie foods will give you a full feeling, especially at snack times, and you won’t gain any of the negative effects of snacking!!!
Here is a brief list of negative calorie foods. You can basically eat these items in any quantity you want during the day…r emember though, this is for the RAW version of the food, adding butter, etc, to any of these things will eliminate the negative calorie effect.
This is not a complete list, there are some other negative calorie foods, but this will give you a good starting point.
You can eat any of these foods in any quantity you want, anytime you want. Just remember, this is the plain, raw version of the food. If you add butter, sugar, salad dressing, etc. to the food it will no longer be a negative calorie food!

A great snack time recipe for the negative calorie foods is a Salad Wrap. Use a lettuce leaf as your holder (instead of a tortilla or pita) and fill it with any of the negative calorie items above. Add a little salt, lemon and pepper for flavor and roll it up tight and pop a stack in your fridge. When you want a quick snack that isn’t going to put on pounds or make you feel guilty the Salad Wrap is the way to go!!!
A snack that actually burns calories… it’s pure genius
