Stop Your Binge Addiction and Lose Unwanted Pounds Easily

Solving your eating obsession is the first step in dropping pounds easily. This is one kind of eating obsession and often times, it is not connected with stress or emotional blanks, or life problems. If you were born into a home where food was well-regarded and you were overfed as a treat, then you are likely to see food as a source of happiness and family bonding.

There may be times when your overeating may give you a sense of fulfillment and ecstasy that surpasses your need for the restrain you had meant to exercise. You often find yourself planning a binge, even though you may not be aware of it.

In situations like this, more often than not, you are unaware of how much your binge disorder is growing. You blame your slow metabolism rate and want to pace up your physiological functions before the next meal. You are not content with your meal and almost sleepwalk to have another in a couple of hours after a filling meal.

But at the same time your mind does not want to accept the fact that you have a binge disorder so you do not want to let others to know that you had sneaked up to eat more after a meal. Worse, you deny that to yourself even. So you clean up the plates, and hide away empty cartons only so that later you do not have to face the fact that you could not control your obsessive eating. All the same you do not consciously like this sneaking up for food.

But then, you know that dropping pounds easily means solving your eating obsession. So you go on alternative diets, counseling sessions and even keep telling yourself that your binge eating is causing more trouble than pleasure for you. Yet you do not lose weight so you think of getting something like a gastric bypass surgery to achieve that end.

Having said that you need to understand that compulsive eating makes you eat big meals with a two-hour gap in between. And once you begin eating you begin to lose confidence that you can control binging. You may eat really fast, or eat till you feel stuffed, eat when you do not have the urge to do so, privately and be ashamed of it, or feel depressed or guilty after a binge.

Dieting may actually make things worse for you. You may religiously stick to your diet for some time, but the moment you feel you have made one mistake with your schedule you get back to overeating to deal with the guilt.

One way to deal with this is to apply a cognitive therapy or a rational-emotional behavior therapy. You need to identify where your thinking process is getting distorted and set that right. You need to know your thoughts and beliefs and pen them down so you can be motivated to think about them and replace them with the truth.

It may take time, but it is a tried and tested means to lose binge disorders. So, get solving your bingeing obsession and dropping pounds easily is just a matter of time.
